Environmental Physical Theatre Workshops

Working with aerialist/circus practitioner, Jani Foldi and theatre maker/musician, Chez Dunford, we will explore the important current themes of food and farming through movement.  Responding to words and performance, participants will develop imaginative pieces and statements, their voices and ideas helping to form part of an outdoor community theatre piece.

Over a series of sessions, you will contribute to the research and development of a new piece of outdoor community co-created theatre.  The sessions will see participants responding to the above statements and will provide a vital dramatic space for the voices, opinions and experience of all those who live and work in rural Wales.

Abergavenny Horror Series

A 4-day programme focusing on the darker side of life.  Based in a horror theme, young people will have the chance to express their wild sides and delve into the unexplained and mysterious.  Using costume, music and the element of surprise, this series of sessions will be about having fun and exploring the genre of horror, and using it as a way of building performance, making friends and celebrating the time of year where we all begin to embrace the dark nights!

Join us for a series of sessions dedicated to the art of fright, suspense and mystery.  We’ll be delving into the darkness, having fun with expression and uncovering the devices and techniques used to create suspense and tension.  The sessions will incorporate improv, script work and physical theatre.  Participants will work
together to create a series of pieces, promoting confidence, courage and imagination.
