The Gould Piano Trio have been compared in the Washington Post to the great Beaux Arts Trio on account of their “musical fire” and “dedication to the genre”.

The Trio has remained at the forefront of the international chamber music scene for well over a quarter of a century.Beethoven’s “Ghost” trio takes its name from its mysterious slow movement while Haydn’s Trio is so called because the composer, ever humourous, was making a joke about Jacob’s Ladder with high notes for the violin. Schumann’s Trio is simply full of heart warming romanticism.
