Outdoor Dance Event Saturday 11 September 2021

12pm & 1:30pm
Brewery Yard Car Park, Abergavenny

West-Walian dance artist Osian Meilir highlights the value of shared experiences and finding community through a newly commissioned outdoor work for three dancers. Qwerin brings Welsh folk dance and Queer culture together, with an original sound-score by Bafta award-winning composers and a contemporary twist on traditional Welsh costumes, in a folkloric celebration of culture and identity.

An ‘Open Out’ commission by Wales Outdoor Arts Commissioning Consortium and Articulture. Supported by the Arts Council of Wales, Welsh Government and the National Lottery.
