Never has it been more necessary for us to deepen our understanding of cultures from around the world. The opportunity to explore the sights, sounds and food of places that are different to our own is essential to building cross-cultural communities. There is power in the breaking of bread. That’s why we are delighted to be hosting this important discussion on Foods of the Islamic World.

Multi-awarding winning author and chef, Anissa Helou, will be joined by Fozia Ismail – founder of Somali supper-club Arawelo Eats & one of OFM’s 2019 Top 50 – and Farmer Muhsen Hassanin, one of the only halal livestock farmers in Monmouthshire.
