Neruda Quartet
21 TACH 2026
Dynamic young London-based ensemble bring their fresh and exhilarating approach to chamber music to The Borough.
The Neruda Quartet’s programme includes one of Beethoven’s last great masterpieces and also Mozart’s Quartet K.589, written towards the end of his life.Dedicated to the King of Prussia, this late set of three quartets demonstrate Mozart’s mastery of the medium.
Haydn’s B minor quartet is a relatively early work but reveals Haydn’s sense of fun alongside moments of drama.
The Neruda Quartet was chosen to represent the Royal Academy of Music at the First International Orchestral and Chamber Music Symposium in Tianjin, China, an event that brought together ensembles from institutions around the world. Among other opportunities has been a recording for Academy Alumnus, Elton John.
